A double commitment service for
Martin Buckner, who died Friday in
Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital af-
ter a stroke, and for his wife, whose
death occurred in January, took place
yesterday afternoon in Mt. Albion Cem-
etery, following the former's funeral
service in the McNall Funeral Home.
Mr. Buckner, a Spanish American
War veteran, was born at Buffalo May
12, 1869, a son of David B. Buckner,
native of Germany, and Mary C. Mul-
ler, who was born at Welland, Ont. He
retired from farming in the fall of
1931.
The survivors are two sons, August
and Samuel Buckner of Gaines; eight
brothers, John of Oswego, Roland of
Medina, Edward of Buffalo, Albert and
Irving of Detroit, and Ray and Fay of
Rochester, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma
Butts of Medina and Mrs. Laura War-
ren of Carlton.
