LOCKPORT - Walter L. Gro-
ski, 45, of 6797 Slayton-Settle-
ment Road, died 'Sunday (Dec.
27, 1970) at the Inter-Communi-
ty Memorial Hospital at New-
fane after a long illness.
Born in Lockport Feb. 14,
1925, the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Groski, he had been em-
ployed as an inspector at the
Harrison Radiator Division of
General Motors Corp. until his
retirement last Oct. 1.
He is survived by his wife,
Irene Buczkowski Groski; two
brothers, Stanley of Niagara
Falls and Joseph Groski of Ton
awanda; a stepmother, Mrs..
Sophia Groski; a stepbrother,
Edward Konieczek; a stepsis-
ter, Mrs. John Buja, all of Ni-
agara. Falls, and several nieces
and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the
Prudden and Kandt Funeral
Home where services will be
held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday fol-
lowed by a fequiem Mass at
St. Joseph's Church at 10 a.m.
Rosary will be recited at the
funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Wed-
nesday. Burial will be in Cold
Spring Cemetery
