BUDDENHAGEN - The funeral of
Henry L. Buddenhagen will be
held at the Hancock Baptist
Church Saturday at 1 p. m. The
Rev. Lloyd Elliott will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverview Ceme-
tery, Hancock, N. Y. Friends may
call at the Henderson Funeral
Chapel, Hancock. N. Y. this eve-
ning from 7 to 9.

Henry L. Buddenhagen, 77, a well
known resident of the Hancock
area, passed away at 9:00 p. m.,
Tuesday, October 8, 1957, in a Bing-
hamton Hospital where he had been
a patient for eight and one-half
months. Until illness forced him
to cease working, Mr. Buddenhagen
had been a progressive farmer and
woodsman, having operated a farm
on the Winterdale, Pa., Road since
1907. He was born on August 22,
1880, in Narrowsburg, a son of the
late Fredrich and Johanna (Vicker)
Buddenhagen. He came to Han-
cock, to reside in 1905. On Febru-
ary 19, 1907, in Binghamton, he
was united in marriage to Miss
Martha Mallery and they began
housekeeping in the home on the
Winterdale Road.,. Besides his wife,
Mr. Buddenhagen is survived by
four sons and three daughters, Wal-
ter, Lester, and Wilson of Schenec-
tady and Henry of West Palm
Beach, Florida; also Mrs. Ruth
Graham, Troy; Mrs. Viola Camp-
bell, Yonkers; Mrs. Irene DuMond,
Hancock, and Mrs. Ethel Peterson,
Schenectady. Also surviving are
17 grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren. Mr. Buddenhagen
was a member of the Hancock Bap-
tist Church and his funeral will be
held there at 1:00 p. m., Saturday,
October 12, with the pastor, the
Rev. Lloyd I. Elliott, officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Ceme-
tery, Hancock. Friends may call
at the Henderson Funeral Chapel
this evening and also tomorrow
evening
