  Niagara Falls Gazette, March 21, 1971 Ex-Resident Dies on Coast Mrs. Helen Cummings, 62, a former resident of this city, died Friday (March 19, 1971), in Colton, Calif., where she had resided with her husband for several years. Mrs. Cummings, the former Helen Hartwig, was born here July 19, 1909 and attended local schools. She moved from the city with her husband, Henry, several years ago. In addition to her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Agnes Hartwig, this city; three brothers, John W., Donald R., and Daniel Hartwig, and two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Geraldine) Lasher and Mrs. George (Ann) Grier, also of this city. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral arrangements being made in Colton are incomplete.
