- Dorothy L. Batchelor of Narrowsburg, NY, a lifelong resident, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart, Pa. She was 89.
The daughter of the late Louis and Lillian Roberts Buddenhagen, she was born December 23, 1922 in Beaver Brook, NY.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Narrowsburg, NY.
A family statement reads, "Dorothy was a loving and caring, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She took great pride in her family, and was a big part of our lives. The family celebrated 5 generations. She will truly be missed and will always be in our hearts."
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Thomas H. Batchelor, who had passed a away on August 2, 2007.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg. Pastor Phyllis Haynes will conduct services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tusten Volunteer Ambulance Corps, PO Box 34, Narrowsburg.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rasmussen Funeral Home, Narrowsburg.
