Joseph Kraatz Rites Conducted At Akron
AKRON, March 28. Funeral services for Joseph Kraatz, 84 years old, who died at the Buffalo City hospital, after a short illness, were held at his home in East Aurora this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. O. C. Bucher, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, officiated and burial was in Evergreen Lawn cemetery. Mr. Kraatz was born in Germany and came to this country with his parents when a young man. He had been a resident here many years. Surviving are a son, Edward Kraatz, and a daughter, Mrs. Scott Cummings, both of Lockport, and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Tesnow and Mrs. Minnie Belger, Akron, also several grandchildren.
