Mr. and Mrs. Henry P. Buehl an-
nounce the engagement of their daugh-
ter Minnie to Frederick L. Goetz,
the marriage to be solemnized in June.

The most Important social event
of the week was the golden wedding
reception of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
P. Buehl on Monday evening at
their home, Brookledge. The receiv-
ing line, which included Mr. and
Mrs. Buehl ,their daughter, Mrs.
Frederick L. Goetz, an their son
and his wife, Mr.. and rs. Fred-
erick H Buehl, stood in the spacious
living room. Mrs Buehl was gowned
in a blue brocaded georgette, Mrs.
Geotz in flowered gray chiffon, and
Mrs.. Frederick H. Buehl in a green
mousseine de sole. Supper was
served to a hundred guests in the
recreation room in the basement, to
an accompaniment of a stringed
four piece orchestra. Dancing fol-
lowed the dinner. The table was
decorated with talisman roses and
yellow roses.. Tall yellow tapers in
silver candesticks furnished the il-
lumination.
The out-of-town guests included
Mr.. and Mrs. P. F.. Brady of Buf-
falo, Mrs. Brady having been a
bridesmaid at the wedding 50 years
ago; Mrs.. Lena Moll,, Mrs. William
Held, Mrs. George Rebaun, Mr. and
Mrs. Benjamin Haag, all of Roch-
ester; Mr. and Mrs.. red Breit-
meyer, Richard Haase of Mt.. Clem-
ens, Mich; Mr.. and Mrs. Phillip
reitmeyer of Detroit, Mr. Breit-
meyer having been Mr. Buehl's best
man; Mr.. and Mrs. Harry Breit-
meyer,, also of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Stortz of Elkins Park, Pa.;
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Reiter of Phil-
adephia and Charles Buehl of San
Bernardino, Cal.
