A 30-year resident of Lockport
and retired trucker, Harrison H
Bullard, 74, of 3678 Lockport-Ol-
cott Road, died today (June 8,
1963) at Mount View Hospital,
where he was admitted Thursday
after a long illness.
Born in Olcott Dec. 10, 1889. he
was the son of Fenton and Ella
Godfrey Bullard.
Formerly employed by the
Eastern Forwarding Co., a Buffa-
lo trucking agency, Mr. Bullard
once operated a Newfane service
station, and owned and operated
the Bullard Trucking Co. from
his Lockport address for six
years, until his retirement 10
years ago.
Mr. Bullard married the for-
mer Florence Smith of Cambria
in 1909 and the couple celebrat-
ed their 50th wedding anniversa-
ry In 1959.
A former Newfane Fire Chief
for two years, Mr. Bullard served
with the Newfane Volunteer Fire
Co. for more than 10 years, and
was a member of the Exempt
Volunteer Firemen's Association.
Besides his widow, he is sur-
vived by two daughters, Mrs.
Carl (Marjorie) Hulshoff and
Marion Judge, both of Lockport;
three sons, William and LaVerne
Bullard of Lockport, and Levelle
Bullard of Appleton; two broth-
ers, Claude Bullard of Newfane,
and Ray Bullard of Lockport;
two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Sage
of Newfane and Mrs. Leah
Graves of Lockport. He is also
survived by 12 grandchildren
Friends may call at the Ken-
neth H. Sherrie Funeral Home,
6139 East Ave., Newfane, begin-
ning tomorrow at 2 p.m. The fu-
neral arrangements will, be an-
nounced at a later date
