  Of the Town of Pendleton, NY, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Buffalo General Hospital. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 16, 1929, the daughter of the late Clarence O. and Myrtle [Richmond] Rader. Mrs. Gabrys moved to Pendleton in 1957, where she was employed as a custodian at Starpoint Central School for over 15 years, before retiring in 1985. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, knitting and was an active member with the NFWBA. Mrs. Garbys was the wife of the late Edward M. Gabrys, who died on September 7, 1991. She is survived by her sons Richard Gabrys, Edward (Sandra) Gabrys and Jeffrey (Gregory Mollnar) Gabrys, daughters Margaret (late Robert) Pierce and Kari (Steven) Frey, also many grandgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Steven Gabrys and sister of the late Janet Barry, Shirley Woodcock and Diana Zaccerella. Private services were held at the wishes of her family.
