- Dorothy (Jesse) Cuddahee, longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Brothers of Mercy Nursing Care Residence in Clarence. She was 89. She was born in Dunkirk, New York on March 9, 1927, a daughter of the late Joseph and Valentina Jesse. She graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1945 and moved to Niagara Falls in 1946. She worked at DuPont for several years during which time she married Lawrence P. Cuddahee. She then ended her career at DuPont to stay at home and raise her family.
Mrs. Cuddahee was a mother to many neighborhood children and she loved to cook and take care of people.
She is survived by two children: Janice Cuddahee and Joe Cuddahee, both of Williamsville and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband Lawrence in 1990 and 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Thursday from 4:30 to 8:00 P.M. where a funeral service will be held at 7:30. Burial will be private in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery in Lewiston.
