- Sally L. Rog, 83, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 7th, 2018 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Marie (Stoll) Delaney. Sally attended local schools and graduated from the former St. Joseph High School. On May 3, 1958, she married her beloved husband, Jack J. Rog at St. Patrick’s Church in Lockport. Mr. Rog passed away on August 13, 2015 after 57 loving years together. Sally was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Leo’s Church where she was a former member of their choir. She was also a longtime member of the Secular Franciscan Order, the Women’s Ordination Worldwide and the Our Lady of Angels Fraternity Choir. Sally also visited the sick and volunteered at Bingo on behalf of the church parish. In her leisure time, she enjoyed going to the casino and traveling with her friends and families. Above all, she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rog is survived by her two children, Stan Rog and Kathleen (Tim) Gallegos; three grandchildren Thomas Gallegos, Daniel Gallegos and Marissa (William) Hammond; four great-grandchildren Madison, Zoe, Carter and Arya; her sister Noreen (late Leo) Borner, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings James (Mary) Delaney and Mary (late Ted) Chetney. Sally’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 13th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo’s Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls.
