- Margaret R. Jamgochian, 62, of Lockport, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on November 7, 2024 at her residence. Born in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Audrey (Kugler) Sansone. She was the wife of 24 years to Steven M. Jamgochian, who predeceased her on December 13, 2016.
Margaret was a graduate of Lockport Senior High School, and later earned her Associate’s Degree from Niagara County Community College. She was employed as an assembly line worker at General Motors in Lockport, NY. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball in local leagues, and also playing bocce. Margaret was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. She loved her dogs, Bella, Stella, Demarini, and Louie, and was a great baker.
Above all, her family meant everything to her, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her sons and attending their baseball games.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Steven (Kali Stewart) Jamgochian, and Dominic (Alana Knaebe) Jamgochian; her siblings, Michael Sansone, Tom (Diane) Sansone, Patty (Dick) Huntington, Philip (Diane) Sansone, Audrey (Dave Detschner) Sansone, and Jimmy Sansone; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie (John) Signorelli, as well as aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, https://www.niagaraspca.org/.
