- Charles Ray Corwin, III, passed unexpectedly on December 28, at the age of 63. He was born on July 21, 1953 to Charles and Theresa Corwin in Ransomville, NY.
He graduated from Lewiston Porter in 1971 and joined as a member of the National Guard. He was employed with the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission since August of 1974, where he was a Toll Captain until his passing.
Chuck was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying kayaking and hunting with his lifelong best friend, Tom White of Wilson.
Chuck was predeceased by his father, Charles Ray Corwin; and his baby sister, Mary Ailene Corwin. He is survived by his mother, Theresa Servos Corwin Tourbin; step-father, John Tourbin; sons, Charles IV and Jason; grandson, Charles V; siblings, Lynne (Dan) Fernandez, Michael (Dorothy), Beth Ann (Mark) Elias, Christine, Cathy (Bruce), and Rebecca. Chuck is also survibed by many nephews and nieces.
Chuck has unselfishly donated his body for medical science to the University at Buffalo.
Family and friends can gather to remember Chuck at the home of his sister and brother-in-law at 595 Morgan Dr., Lewiston, NY, on Sunday, January 15 between the hours of 1-4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
