- Kenneth E. 'Ted' Andrews, Jr. passed Friday, February 24, 2017. Born October 16, 1938 to Kenneth Andrews and Mary M. (Kay) Andrews in Niagara Falls, NY.
Kenneth served in the USAF as a communications specialist, serving in Turkey, Korea and Germany. He married Jennifer (Burnham) Andrews on March 5, 1966 at St. John's Episcopal Church, Youngstown, NY.
A past coach, manager and former President of the Niagara Amateur Hockey League, along with Don Lundberg and Scotty Bowman of Ottawa for a weekend of fun and hockey between NAHL and Ottawa West.
An avid runner, he survived 95 marathons, ultra marathons and 100 mile trail races. He loved running on trails and the epitome was finishing the "Western States 100" in 1991.
He retired from GM Harrison in 1998 after 32 years of service. He traveled with his wife to over 30 countries in Europe, Asia and North Africa and 45 US states.
Survivors include wife, Jennifer; sons, Shawn (Leslie), Kevin (Jennifer LaForte); and beautiful granddaughter, Colette Ever LaForte Andrews; and brother, Daniel K. Andrews.
Remains donated to UB Anatomical Gift Program. No visitation.
