Notes - Ralph D. Zastrow, age 82, of North Tonawanda, NY, died on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at his residence. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY to the late John F. and Emma E. (Fritz) Zastrow, he was the beloved husband of 49 years of the late Barbara M. (nee Knox) Zastrow; and grandfather of the late Billy. Ralph was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Brighton Rd. Congregation, in the Town of Tonawanda.
He is survived by a daughter, Amy Newman of the City of Tonawanda; five grandchildren, Amanda (Jonathan), Mindy (James), T.J., Ryan, Megan; a sister, Marian (Tony) Vershowsky; two brothers, Laverne (Marge) Zastrow, and John (late Martha) Zastrow; and is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, a great-granddaughter due in July; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will be present on Friday, June 2nd from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (Between Morgan & Broad Sts.) City of Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be held at 8 PM following the visitation. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
