- William E. Kramp Of Newfane, husband of Mildred Catanesi Kramp entered into rest on Sunday October 1, 2017 in Lockport, NY. Bill was born in Somerset, NY on February 26, 1941, the son of the late Albert and Mary Geirtz Kramp. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 - 1968. He retired from General Motors after 36 years. Bill was a supervisor for the Niagara County Sheriff Office Work Program where he met many great people along the way. He was a life member and past president of the Newfane Lions Club and a member of the Lockport Elks, Sanborn and Newfane Historical society. Bill volunteered for St. Brendan on the Lake, Olcott Carousal Park and at the Newfane Community Center WNY Food Distribution. He was a court officer, DCO and OCO for the town of Newfane. Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, doing yard work, golfing and watching the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. Father of Rhonda (Thomas) Murdock, John (Beverly) Kramp, Stephanie (Ray) Chambers, Scott (Laura) Newman, Todd Newman, Jeffrey (Traci) Newman, Kelley Maybach and the late William Kramp Jr. Brother of Albert Kramp, Ruthanne (Paul) Sharron and the late Robert Kramp. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, daughter in law; Sonya Kramp, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on THURSDAY from 4 - 8PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Brendan on the Lake (Newfane site) on FRIDAY at 11AM. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery.
