  Tonawanda News - 2/25/1953 METZLOFF — Mrs. Adelaide M. Metzloff, nee Salefske, 80, of 94 Grove St., died early Wednesday, March 25, 1953, in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness. Born in North Tonawanda she was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, a member of Salem Evangelical & Reformed Church, Salem League and Women's Guild of the church. She is survived by her husband, Edward C. Metzloff; two daughters, Mrs. Vincent Bon erb of Orchard Park, N. Y., and Mrs. Thomas Niland of Syracuse; one son, Roland E. Metzloff of Tonawanda; seven grandchildren, David, John, Timothy Bonerb, Thomas III, Dennis, Nancy and Susan Niland; four brothers, William, Charles, Fred and Harold Salefske of North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Hilliard Funeral Home, 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda. The Rev. Walter F. Hetzel will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined by the family who wish gifts would be sent to the Cancer Fund in lieu of flowers.
