- Sarah M. (Pinizzotto) Bucelato, 95 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on November 3, 2017. Born in NuMine, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nunzio ‘Tom’ and Josephine (Sgro) Pinizzotto.
Sarah moved to the Niagara Falls area as a young child with her family. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Sarah worked for several years as a sales clerk at Beir’s Department Store in Niagara Falls. Sarah along with her husband Paul, were active members of the, Hooker Chemical Retirement Club, ISDA Power City Lodge and John Duke Center. Sarah was also a volunteer for the American Red Cross. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading, working in her flower garden, cooking, baking and most recently, attending the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Adult Day Care Services in Wheatfield, NY.
Sarah was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Paul A. Bucelato. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Norma) Bucelato and Shelly Bucelato-Singleton, five grandchildren, Ronda (Scott) Vitello, Paula (Patrick) Shira, Kelley (Ernie) DelVecchio, Heather (Timothy) Betty and Sean (Ryann) Singleton, thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her brother and sisters, Samuel (Bernie) Pinizzotto, Louise (late Joseph) Rosino, Angeline (late Herb) Pierson and Vernetta (late Pete) Vaccarella.
Visitation will be held on Thursday November 9th from 10 – 11 a.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Adult Day Care Services, 3780 Commerce Court North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
