  Mrs. Margaret Holmes Dies After Long Illness Mrs. Margaret Holmes, 51, of 1834 Pierce Ave., died yesterday (Aug. 4, 1955) in St. Mary's Hospital after an illness of 18 months. A native of this city, she worked as a secretary for the former Knack Sinclair Corp., and later worked for the George H. Courter Co. Inc. She was a member of the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Assn. Mrs. Holmes is survived by two sons, Stewart and Bernard Holmes; two daughters, Lois Ann and Mary Lou Holmes, and three sisters, Mrs. John Murphy, Mrs. Stella Christie and Miss Catherine Quinn, all of this city. Funeral services will be held at her home Monday at 8:30 a.m. and at Sacred Heart Church at 9:15. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery.
