  Buffalo News - 1/28/1932 John W. Wiegand, 252 Dartmouth avenue, has a Martin Luther Bible dated 1543. The book is 14 by 8-1/2 inches and has been in Mr. Wiegand's family many years. His grandparents the first owners. The book came to Buffalo from Wittenberg. The characters of German script are undimmed. although the pages have turned yellow. The wooden cover is encased in hand-tooled leather with brass corners and hinges. The Bible is illustrated with ornate pictures.
