  NIGHTINGALE - John C. Nightingale, 62, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday (May 29, 1974) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of North Tonawanda, he was a brother of the late LeRoy Nightingale and the late Carl Schnell. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, the Church Council and a member of Sutherland Lodge No. 826, F&AM. He is survived by his wife, Alice (nee Grieser) Nightingale; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Cynthia) Montesanti; three grandchildren, John, Richard and Mary Lou Montesanti; a sister, Mrs. Gordon Campbell; two brothers,' Edward and Donald Schnell, all of North Tonawanda , and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m.. at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William Sts., Tonawanda, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Luther W. Lautenschlager Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery
