The marriage of Miss Phyllis Metzloff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward C Metzloff of Grove street, Tonawanda, and Thomas J. Niland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Niland of Adam street Tonawanda, was solemnized on Saturday, May 11 at 11 a. m. in St Francis of Assisi Rectory. The Rev. Francis A. Trapp officiated. Attendants for the couple were the bride's sister, Mrs. Vincent Bonerb as matron of honor, and Joseph Niland, brother of the bridegroom as best man. For her wedding Miss Metzloff chose a light blue crepe dress with matching flowered hat She carried a nosegay bouquet of gardenias and delphinium. Mrs. Bonerb wore a melon colored crepe dress with brown accessories and a corsage of gardenias. Mrs. Edward Metzloff, the bride's mother, selected a navy blue dress with white accessories and Mrs. Niland wore black crepe with white accessories. Both wore orchid corsages. A wedding breakfast for the immediate families was given in the Buffalo Athletic Club after which Mr. and Mrs. Niland left by plane for New York and Atlantic City. They will return to the city next week.
