- Obituary of Chester J. Domagala Sr.
Chester J. ‘Chet’ Domagala Sr. passed away December 18, 2019 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born October 22, 1924 in Buffalo he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Majka) Domagala. He served in the US Army during WW II from 1943-1946 being awarded the American Service Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. Chet worked for the Niagara County Highway Department where he was a laborer. He enjoyed tinkering with small engines and especially loved spending time with his family. Chet was predeceased by his wife Helen Domagala on January 18, 2018.Chet is survived by his children James (late Colleen) Domagala, Chester (Annette) Domagala, Jr., and Carol (Ray) Roehner; grandchildren Judy, Jacquie, Michelle, Mike, and Jeff; daughter-in-law Emma Domagala; great grandchildren Leia, TJ, Cadence, Taylor, and Mickell; also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Edward, John, Leo, Jenny.Relatives and friends may call Saturday, December 21st from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday, December 23rd at 1:30 PM.
