- Robert W. ‘Wayne’ Tremblett, 79, of the Town of Niagara, passed away at his residence on January 31, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born September 12, 1941, in Toronto, Canada, he was the son of the late Frederick and Mabel (Butcher) Tremblett.
Wayne came to the United States as a teenager with his family. He proudly served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1967 until his honorable discharge in 1969. Wayne was employed as in production and later as a forklift operator with General Motors in Tonawanda, NY for 57 years, retiring in 2015. He enjoyed working in his yard and crossword puzzles. He was a great handyman and enjoyed helping his daughters with projects.
Wayne is survived by his daughters, Wendy and Kristen Tremblett, his grandpuppies, Jack, Charli, and Sage, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Frederick Tremblett, Richard Tremblett and Heather (Zelig) Herman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4 from 5 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 7 PM, concluding with Military Honors. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
