- Dennis James Mort, age 65, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away March 27, 2018. Dennis was born January 22, 1953 in Niagara Falls, New York, son of the late Roy B. G. Mort and Lillian Grace (Pack) Mort.
Dennis was a graduate of LaSalle High School in 1971. He worked as a slot machine mechanic for 20 years with the Hilton Flamingo in Las Vegas. Dennis loved working on old cars and old houses, he will be dearly missed, especially by all he helped during his life.
He is survived by his sister, Alice (Mort) Graham of Texas; and brother, Paul Mort, of Arizona. Predeceased by brother, Roy G. Mort of Florida. Also survived by three nephews; one predeceased nephew, James D. Mort; and two nieces along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.
