- Virginia A. (Tato) DeLuca, 79 of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on April 19, 2018 in Erie County Medical Center. Born June 19, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Fruscione) Tato.
Virginia was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Virginia was employed by the City Court of Niagara Falls.
Virginia was predeceased by her daughter, Charlotte Castile. She is survived by her grandson, Michael Castile, Jr., four sisters, Cynthia (late John) Luzak, Karen (Conrad) Johnson, Bella (John) Ryan and Roseanna (Mark) Brophy as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was also predeceased by her brother, Richard Tato.
There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on June 16, 2018 at St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church 2748 Military Road Niagara Falls. Interment will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial offerings in Virginia’s memory may be made to St. Elizabeth Mission Society, PO Box 86, 115 East Main Street, Allegany, NY 14706 to honor her aunt, Sister Celestine Fruscione, OSF.
