- Robert “Bob” E. James, of Niagara Falls, passed away on Saturday March 21, 2020 in Buffalo General Hospital. He was born in this city on January 26, 1938, a son of the late Robert “Dennis” and Loretta (Gibson) James.
Bob was the owner and operator of BJ Welding and Wrought Iron. Prior, he was employed with Niagara Steel. He was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church and was known to be handy with many projects.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Barber) James; sons, Robert, David and Richard James and his daughter, Debbie James Kochan; siblings, Patricia Shively and Gary James, Sr; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, private services will be held at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Niagara Falls. The interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, memorial may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of WNY.
