Notes - Bernard J. "Bernie" Berube passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 in Elderwood at Lockport. Born on February 17, 1934 in Solon, ME, he was the son of John B. and Ida Mae Butler Berube.
Bernie served in the Air Force from 1952-1956 and was an appliance repairman, retiring from Montgomery Ward. Bernie enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling.
Bernie was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Berube and daughter, Brenda (Lynn) Hoffman. Bernie is survived by his children, Cathy Sims, Randy (Denise) Berube and John (Oneida) Berube; six grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; his brother, Joseph (late Phyllis) Berube and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday 4:00-7:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. Private interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the veterans charity of one's choice.
