Doris was a teacher's aide at Lewiston-Porter for many years before retiring in 1996.
Doris was the wife of the late Newton Barnett Cothran, who passed away in 2004. Doris is survived by daughters Jill (Don) Boland, Sue (John) Kozlowski, and a third daughter, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Inurnment in Oakland Rural Cemetery, Town of Porter, NY.
