- BASTIEN - James Rocan
North Tonawanda, NY. Peacefully passed away at the age of 95 on January 16, 2023 at Elderwood at Wheatfield. He was the son of the late James and Alice (nee LaJoie) Bastien and was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, NY. He was the beloved husband of Shirley Bastien (Card), stepfather of Rhonda Lingenfelter (deceased), Randy Lingenfelter (Cheryl Buckley), Rochelle (Rodney) Batterson and step grandfather to Jonathan Dullen, Alyssa Schul, Warren (Taylor) Schul, Amanda (Mike) Nikiel Elysa Lingenfelter (Matt Burke) and several nieces, nephews step great grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews. He was the brother of 2 beloved sisters, the late Juliette Saunders and Clara Treat. A private family memorial service will be held at the discretion of his family. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the UB Anatomical Gift Program.
