John J. Jermy Jr., age 56, of the City of Tonawanda, suddenly at Buffalo General Hospital. John was an outdoorsman who loved hunting in Wellsville, or fishing at Bonds Lake. He also enjoyed his bowling league for may years, going to the casino, but most of all John loved his family. He was a hard working man who built a lifelong career as a roofer.
John was predeceased by his mother and father Mary & John Jermy, his sister Vickie, and his son Brian Piccolo. He is survived by his loving wife Melissa Cannon, his brothers and sisters Bert Jermy, Kevin Jermy, Bobbi (Robert) Jermy, Thomas Jermy, sister in laws Rebecca Jermy and Shelley Piccolo, brother in law Michael Grover. He will be missed by his children Shannon (Walter) Piorkowski, John (Veronica) Campbell, Ralph Jermy, Tara Young, Torrie (Richard) Green. Tabatha Jermy, Tessa Jermy and Alexis Jermy. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service in John’s honor will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, 665 Elm Street, Buffalo, NY 14203.
