- William Taylor of Newfane, NY husband of the late Carol Taylor entered into rest on Thursday,
September 21, 2023. He was born in Lockport, NY on December 26, 1930, son of the late Herbert and
Ida Arndt Taylor. William served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed puzzles, watching sports, going to the
casino and for a ride.
Father of Marjorie (William) Pipiles, Randy (Elaine) Taylor and Dusty (Amanda) Taylor. Step father of
Gary Cook and the late Karen (Fred) Trombley and Stephan Cook. Brother of George (Lois) Taylor and
the late Herb (Betty) Taylor and Robert H. Taylor. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren,
9 great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on
Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm where funeral services will be held on Monday,
September 25, 2023 at 10am. Burial will be in Corwin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to
