Mrs. Merkel was predeceased by her husband Frederick Merkel. Theresa is survived by her children Deborah (Ernie Sidote) Curry, Diana Robinson, Dawn (Don) Ingersoll, sister of Emil (the late Joann) LaJoie, Marilyn (the late John) Cullkins, the late Allen, Dion La Joie, and Grace Budd, grandmother of Lisa (Paul), Angie (Chris), Matthew (Katie), Michelle, Nicole (Patrick), Amber, Katie (Matt), and Kristine (Josh), great grandmother of 14, also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
