  Lockport Union Sun and Journal - 9/12/1972 MIDDLEPORT — John F.Schilling, 71, of 4556 Freeman Road , died unexpectedly Monday evening in Medina Memorial Hospital soon after being admitted following an apparent heart attack at his home.He was born Nov. 3, 1900 in the Town of, Hartland, a son of William and Anna (Smith)Schilling, and had been a farmer in this area all his life.He was a member of St.Peter's Lutheran Church of Medina , Middleport Senior Citizen s and Wolcottsville Golden Agers.Surviving are his widow, the former Emily Kraatz; a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Emily)Schultz and a brother, George Schilling, all of Middleport; also three grandchildren and two great - grandchildren.Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow at Wallace and Heath Funeral Home Inc., Middleport, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.The Rev. Ronald Haefer will officiate. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.Memorials to the Memorial Fund of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Medina, would be appreciated by the family.
