Mrs. Susan Wendt.
Mrs. Susan Wendt, wife of John Wendt of the Pekin road, died Thursday afternoon at the family home. Mrs. Wendt is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Mary Deering, and one brother, William Deering of Pekin. The funeral will be held from the
family home at one o'clock tomorrow afternoon and a half hour later from the Pekin Church. Burial at Pekin.

The funeral services of Susie Dohring Wendt, wife of John T. Wendt was hold from her late home at Pekin Sunday afternoon, October 14th at 1:30 and from St. Andrew's German Lutheran church at 2 o'clock, the Rev. W. Strothmann officiating assisted by Rev. K. R Richter of Buffalo, N. Y., her former pastor. A quartette from Lockport, Miss Emma Bets, Mrs. Fred Fuerch, Albert Hoffmaster and Edward Kandt sang three favorite hymns of the deceased. The services at the home and at the church were very largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends. The bearers were six nephews: Fred and Edward Kraatz, Ferdinand, Karl, Herman and Herbert Dohrlng. Interment was made in German Lutheran Cold Spring cemetery at Lockport.
