- Matthew J. Fortier, age 28, of North Tonawanda, unexpectedly, November 2, 2010. Matthew was a talented tattoo artist and musician and had worked for S.P.S. Temporaries. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.. Loving father of Skyler Paige Fortier; beloved son of Susan Gettings of Wheatfield and Richard P. Fortier of Niagara Falls; dear brother of Alicia Gettings of Wheatfield; step-son of Mark Gettings of Grand Island; nephew of William and John Fortier of Niagara Falls, Suzanne Fortier of California, and Karen Stornelli of Buffalo. Dear friend of Kristen Brunner. He was the grandson of the late Howard and Betty Kohler and the late Richard and Diane Fortier.. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 PM from Redeemer Lutheran Church, Thompson and Falconer St., in North Tonawanda, the Rev. David A. Beutel will officiate. Interment in Elmlawn Cemetery.
