- Lindsay Canali, 35, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2020, after a 15-month courageous battle with a rare form of cancer discovered directly following the birth of her daughter. Born in Piqua, OH, she was the loving daughter of Jimmy and Sandy (Smith) Caudill.
Lindsay was raised in Ohio and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Pathology from Ohio State University. While at college she met the love of her life, Kevin Canali who she married on October 6, 2012. Lindsay received her Registered Nursing degree from D’Youville College and was currently employed at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. While working as an RN, she also received her MBA in Health Care Administration from Western Governors University.
Lindsay was an active member of the Renaissance Club of North Tonawanda. She also enjoyed boating and cooking, and especially loved to travel. Her generous and caring personality will be deeply missed by her cherished family and countless friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lindsay is survived by her beloved daughter, Ruby Mae Canali; one brother, Bradley Caudill; her father-in-law, Gerald D. Canali, DDS (Elizabeth) and was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Diane Rose. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Christy (Jim) Lilley, and brother-in-law, Greg (Suzi) Canali, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 18 from 3 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M.
