- Suzanne "Sue" (Krzystek) Wojcik, age 72 of Niagara Falls, NY, died suddenly on Saturday, December 24, 2022. Sue is survived by her husband of 42 years, Theodore "Ted" Wojcik; daughter, Noelle (Matt) Clark of North Tonawanda; and grandchildren, Ella and Griffin Clark.
She was the loving daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor Krzystek; dear sister of Ilene (David) Bush of Louisville, KY, David (Kathy) Krzystek, and Walt (Sharon) Krzystek, both of North Tonawanda, NY, and the late Michael Krzystek, Paul Kryzstek and Steven Krzystek; sister-in-law of Moira Krzystek, Penny Krzystek, and Monique Kryzstek; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Sue was a long-time volunteer with the St. Jude Shrine, making crafts and assisting with their annual bazaar. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Ella and Griffin, especially reading stories with them on her lap.
She worked for the IRS for many years, where she also led the IRS's Sunshine Club, ensuring that all employees had a celebration for their birthdays and holidays. Sue was also a cook for many years at Sikora Post in North Tonawanda, catering for weddings and club functions. In addition, she was a bookkeeper for several construction companies over the years.
As the oldest sibling of 7, she took charge of gifts and holidays, a practice she continued well into adulthood. It was not unusual for her loved ones to receive cards and homemade ceramics/crafts for every holiday - even St. Patrick's Day or Halloween!
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in Sue's name can be made to St. Jude's Shrine, 75 Ridge Road, Lewiston, NY 14092
