- Obituary of Phillip F. Pawlukovich
Phillip F. Pawlukovich of Niagara Falls, NY passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 4, 2020, he was 74. He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on December 23, 1945 and was the son of the late Joseph and Leona (Holden) Pawlukovich. Phillip graduated from Wattsburg High School and served in the United Sates Army during the Vietnam War and continued his service in the Army reserves.He worked as a machinist for the former Metaullics Corp and eventually retired from Carborundum. Phillip was an outstanding athlete, who played semi-pro football. He also played baseball, basketball, wrestled and volunteered as a coach for the PAL football League. In his spare time, he was an avid golfer and also worked at the Hyde Park Golf Course. He loved spending time with his family and catching up with his friends.He survived by his wife of 52 years. Charlene (Delio) Pawlukovich; daughter Christi (Steven)Spates and brother, Gerald (Alice)Pawlukovich. He is also survived by Robert (Patricia)Delio,several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, David, Michael and JoAnn.Friends may call Wednesday, October 7th from 2-5 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street, cor of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY. Burial with Military Honors will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 8th at Riverdale Cemetery, 5605 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT THE CEMETERY.
