Mary G. Lenz, Lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 after a lengthy illness. She was 56. She was born in Niagara Falls on August 24, 1964, a daughter of Joan (Ferritt) Lenz and the late Robert Lenz. Mary attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1982. She then earned her degree from Bryant and Stratton and became a legal secretary working for several area attorneys for 25 years.
She was a very religious and was a devoted member of St. Raphael’s Church. Mary was a very creative and intelligent person and she enjoyed making jewelry and cooking and her wonderful meals will be missed by her family.
Mary is survived by her mother Joan Lenz, three siblings: Robert Lenz, Millicent Lenz and Joanne (Andrew) Bavelas, her aunt Brenda (John) Cassoni and her uncle John Ferritt. She is also survived by two nieces: Helena Bavelas and Anna (Kenton) Farris, her nephew Adam Bavelas, cousins Diana (David) Hills and Carol (Mark) Traina, several more cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her father she was predeceased by her nephew Apollo Bavelas.
A memorial service will be held at a later time to be announced. Donations may be made in Mary’s name to Save-A-Pet, the SPCA or a Church of one’s choice.
