  Rocheter Democrat and Chronicle - 5/28/1961 HARLEY A. DEMERY ARKPORT—Harley A. Demery of Oak Hill Street. Arkport, died yesterday (May 27, 1961)at the Veterans Administration Center in Bath where he had been for two and one-half weeks. He was 71 years old. Born in the Town of Fremont, he spent most of his life in the Hornell area. He was a veteran of World War I and a charter member of Niagara Falls Post 54, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include two sons, Harvey and Leonard Demery; a niece and a nephew. The body will be at the Robertson Funeral Home in Hornell tomorrow afternoon. Funeral and committal services will be held there at 3:30 p.m. Monday with Rev. Earl Sims officiating. Burial will be in Stevens Mills Cemetery.
