- Helen M. Miers
Mrs. Helen M. Miers, 72, of 460 Fourth St., died today (Aug. 5, 1977) in Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital. She had been in ill health for four months. Born in St. Catharines, Ont., she was employed in the dietary department of Memorial Medical Center for two years and lived here for 46 years and prior to that in St. Catharines. She was a member of the Niagara Frontier Chapter 658 OES, and a member of White Shrine 18 Niagara Falls. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Patronski of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mrs. Robert (Bonnie) Eagan of Lewiston; two brothers, Michael and Leo Crowley of St. Catharines, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Victory Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines, with the Rev. Brian McCuIlich of St. Catharines Cathedral officiating. There are no prior visitation hours. Arrangements were made by the Hardison Funeral Home; Lewiston.
