- William E. "Big Bill" Hollar, Sr. 84, of Wheatfield, New York, Tuesday (December 8, 2020) in Millard Fillmore Suburban. Mr. Hollar was born in Everett, Pa, on September 8, 1936 to Earl and Ora (Kifer) Hollar. Mr. Hollar was a United States Army Veteran, retired Pipefitter with various unions in Western New York including Local 73. In his spare time he was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed bird watching, hunting and spending time with his family. Bill was predeceased by his Step brother Richard Taylor, and brother in law John Gentleman.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years L. Darlene (Foor) Hollar, father of William (Bonnie) Hollar, Jr.; Robert (Tracie), and Brian (Ariani) Hollar, brother of Marshall (Ruthann), Robert (Donna), Doris Gentleman, Derwood (Janese), Gene (Audrey) Hollar and Step sister in law Gen Taylor, grandfather of Stephanie (Greg) Weldy, Nicholas (Amy) Hollar, Jordan Hollar, Marissa (Jared) Majors-Manley, Jami Hollar, Sabrina, and Katherine Hollar, and Matthew Hollar, great grandfather of Mason, Parker, and Brady Hollar, and Austin Weldy.
Memorials services will be held at a date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara County SPCA. https://www.niagaraspca.org/index
