  Hartford Courant - 2/15/1989 A memorial service is scheduled this month for Hazel Scully Henkle, a retired social sciences teacher at Mitchell College in New London who had served on its board of trustees. Henkle, who retired in 1975, died Thursday at age 79. She lived on Niles Hill Road in Waterford. The service is scheduled Feb. 25 for 11 a.m. at the all Souls Unitarian-Universalist Church, 60 Huntington St., New London. Henkle was the wife of Dr. Robert T. Henkle. She also leaves three sons, Bruce Henkle of Weston, John Henkle of Forestville and Richard Henkle of Greenwood, Ind.; a brother, George Scully; a sister, Evelyn Shaw; and three grandchildren.
