- Marian M. Lassman (Yotter) of Town of Niagara, formally of Wilson, NY passed away on Feb. 24th, 2023 at 12:39pm. She was born at Buffalo Children's Hospital to the late Mildred (Bushover) Yotter and John L. Yotter of Wilson and Cambria, NY.
Marian was married almost 58 years to Paul A. Lassman. He predeceased her in 2020.
She was a homemaker for many years, enjoying gardening, crafts, camping, and country music especially Ray Price and Marty Robins. She was later employed by American Rubber Product of North Tonawanda and Supplier Park Industries of Lockport, NY retiring in 2017.
Marian is survived by three daughters Pamela (John) Bowers of New Mexico, Laura (Douglas) Seefeldt of Niagara Falls, and Tracy (Wayne) Grenning of Lockport, NY and two sons Scott Lassman of Ransomville, NY and Jason Lassman of Niagara Falls, NY.
She is also survived by three sisters Alice (Capt. Peter) Carlson of MA, Deacon Katherine Yotter, and Barbara (Roger) Schultz, both of Lakeland, FL, and two brothers John (Judy) Yotter and Fred (Cheryl) Yotter of Lockport, NY; a loving ex-son-in-law Scott Edwards of Niagara Falls, and much gratitude to her daughter-in-law Robin and her granddaughter Rebekah.
She was predeceased by a much loved and respected brother Robert (Beverly) Yotter of Lockport, NY.
Marian leaves behind 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Her body was donated to the Anatomical Gift Program at the University of Buffalo. There will be no prior visitation.
Any donations can be made to Niagara-Wheatfield's sports and music programs and the Town of Niagara's holiday decorations in lieu of flowers.
