JOHNSON - Carolyn Jean (nee Anderson)
Age 75, of Olcott, NY, passed on October 31, 2015, after a 16 year battle with cancer. Born July 29, 1940 in Jamestown, NY of Donald E. and Ellen C. Anderson; is survived by her loving husband William Johnson; sister Anita L. Anderson; daughter Lori Wendt (nee Fuerch), William (Julie) Fuerch, Christopher (Kristi) Fuerch, David (Joyce) Johnson, Michelle (Joe) Graves, and 11 grandchildren. Carolyn worked at Bell Aerospace, Trico and DuPont as a CAD Design/Illustrator. She most recently worked at Newfane Library with her most favorite job being a mother. She was the first female board member on the Holy Ghost school board and a member of the Holy host adult choir. She was also a member of the Bell Ski Club and liked to do needlework, read and gardening. A memorial service will be held at a later date. As a member of the Anatomical Gift Program at the University of Buffalo, her body has been donated to the School of Medicine and Biometrical Sciences. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Southern Poverty Law Center.
