Betsy J. Neuman, age 81, died January 26, 2024 in Medina Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 1, 1942 in Medina to John and Winifred (Wortley) Brown and was life-long resident of this area.
Betsy was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lyndonville, a former employee of Harrison Radiator, Middleport Family Health Center and the Orleans Correctional Facility. She was a member of the Middleport Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling, playing softball, cards, birdwatching and reading. However, her greatest love was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Neuman was predeceased by her husband Raymond Sr., her brothers: Richard and Robert Brown and her faithful companions: Max, Brutus and Toby.
She is survived by her son: Raymond (Melissa) Neuman Jr. of Medina, her daughter: Cynthia (Julio) Santiago of WI, her sister-in-law: Esther Brown of Middleport, her brother and sister-in-law: Robert and Bonnie Neuman of Barker, her grandchildren: Brennan (Alissa), Jared, Alexis (Corey), Abigail (Travis), Elizabeth (Colin), Andrew (Kerri), Allison (Randell), her great grandchildren: Ashton, Caden, Paige, Andrew, Evelynn as well as several nieces and nephews.
Betsy’s family would like to thank Michelle Wiseman and Christina Nenni for the loving care they gave Betsy during her last days and a special thank you to Dr. Ahmed and caring staff at Medina Memorial Hospital for providing her with the wonderful comfort and care that she received.
There will be no calling hours. A time to share memories and memorial service will be announced at a later date with interment being held at the convenience of the family.

Betsy’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home of Middleport.
