  On May 13, 2021, Gail P. Oakes went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ due to Covid. Gail loved to read and watch Hallmark channels as well as mysteries and westerns. She was predeceased by parents, Rosemary and Lester Oakes; and her brothers, Lester, Gary, Daniel, David, and Christopher. Gail is also survived by her sister, Sandra Guzman. Gail will be deeply missed by her seven children, Susan (Frank) Zarrillo, Ernest P. (Jennifer) Haskins III, Jeanette (Paul) Rader, James (Joy) Zeitz, Jr., Melissa (Ronald) Farrar, Rosemary (Timothy) Gray, Alice (Robert) Works; including numerous extended family members. A Celebration of life will be held at Oppenheim Park on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 1 PM. The family asks everyone to wear purple, as it was her favorite color.
