- David D. Huntsman (65) of Newfane, NY was called home to be with our Lord Jesus on September 23, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. David was born on 10/2/1955 in Niagara Falls, NY to Myrtle and William Huntsman, and was predeceased by his sister Kathleen (Dolan). He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior as a Junior Soldier in the Salvation Army in Niagara Falls, NY.
He lived his entire life in Niagara County, NY and was a 1973 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School, where he met his high school sweetheart and loving wife, Nancy (Sabin) Huntsman in 1971. They were married in 1975 and celebrated 46 years of marriage this year.
David loved archery, bowhunting and fishing. His favorite color was Camo. He had a loving heart and would often be a big help to our family and our Newfane neighbors. He was dearly loved and will be truly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy. Three (3) Children, Nicole (Theo), Christopher (Marissa) and Jeffrey Huntsman. Seven (7) Grandchildren, Mariah, Trinity, Carissa, Jada, Christopher, Ethan and Mikayla. Three (3) Great-grandchildren, Neveah, Braelyn and Dakota.
He is also survived by his Aunt, Alice Balcom, Two (2) Sisters, Barbara (Fred) Van Brunt of Ohio, Patricia Paulison of Niagara Falls and one (1) Brother, Richard (Susan) Huntsman of Niagara Falls.
There are also many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and close friends who will miss him very much.
A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 30th at 11:00am at the Hess Road Wesleyan Church, 2514 Hess Rd, Appleton, NY 14008.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor the memory of David are asked to make an offering of love to the Hess Road Wesleyan Church or the Salvation Army in Niagara Falls in his name.
