Mrs. Bacon Dies; Had Owned Bakery Mrs. Luella M. Bacon, 86, of 108 West Center St., died late Saturday afternoon at Medina Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. She was born to William and Bertha (Steilo) Reimer in Wolcottsville on July 28, 1897, and lived in the Medina-Lyndonville area most of her life. Forty years ago Mrs. Bacon operated a bakery in Lyndonville and then baked for the Apple Grove Inn for 27 years retiring in 1974. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Medina, the Senior Citizens of Western Orleans and the Golden Agers of Wolcottsville. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Armand (Beatrice) Serafine of Alhambra, Calif.; two grand-children, Ronald Serafine of California, Mrs. Ronald (Mary Ellen) D'Amico of Medina; five great-grandchildren, Mark D'Amico of Havelock, N.C., Mrs. Joseph (Pamela) Cardone of Medina, Rick Serafine of Hawaii, Michael Serafine of California and Melissa D'Amico of Medina; one sister, Mrs. Leona Bates of Medina; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Gladys Reimer of Medina, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call today (2-4, 7-9) at the Barnes-Tuttle Inc. Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church of Medina with the Rev. William Barlow officiating. Burial will be in Lynhaven Cemetery, Lyndonville. Memorial gifts may be made to either Trinity Lutheran Church of Medina or the Heart Fund.
